Ameristar's in-house tube mill facilitates production of the patented "Forerunner™ rails", as well as the steel pickets and posts for this industrial ornamental fence. The high-speed automated production of these G-90 galvanized fence components results in lower manufacturing costs and prompt delivery. The unique PermaCoat® (double layer) electrostatic powder coating process adds a superior maintenance-free finish in a range of colors. When compared to conventional systems framed to standard channels, Aegis II® with the patented Forerunner™ Double-walled "U" Channel Rail offers considerably greater strength due to its specially formed architectural shape.

Aegis II® Curved Top

Any facility concerned about both security and appearance when setting up a fence as the first physical structure in a multi-faceted security system, need look no further than the Aegis II® ornamental steel fence system from Ameristar®. The strong steel vertical pickets are much more difficult to cut through than chain-link or welded wire mesh, the enclosed picket retaining rod ensures both the security and clean look of the totally hidden fastening system, and the separation of rails supporting the tall 14 gage pickets discourages climbing attempts, particularly with the curved and pointed top design option. All Aegis Plus® panels, including those with ornamental rings, are free of welds and also free of unsightly external fasteners. Aegis Plus® is available in four colors: black, white, bronze, and desert sand.
